Southern Logging

Community

We have watched our employees build lasting friendships and establish their families in Maplesville. This tight knit community is not something you can't find anywhere else.

Recreation

We operate in a ~60 mile radius around Maplesville, as the forests in this area are unmatched even in other southern states. Besides just trees, within these hills you can find some of the best hunting, fishing, and other recreation spots. If you want to get out of the woods Maplesville is just an hour from Birmingham and only a few from the beaches of Gulf Shores.

Longevity

The median home cost in Alabama is $100,000 less than the national median and our cost of living is generally 16% less. These factors make Alabama and Maplesville a wonderful place to live long term

Parnell Inc. has operated out of Maplesville, Alabama for more than 60 years. Why have we stayed?
